Sheriff’s Office Makes Drug Related Arrests
The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office arrested
two local residents on drug related charges
last Thursday following a two month long
investigation, according to Sheriff James Williams.


County Requests Utilities Commission To Delay Decision
The Ashe County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution Friday, during a special called meeting, requesting the North Carolina Public Utilities Commission to delay their decision on issuing a permit regarding the proposed wind farm.
