A group of concerned downtown business owners attended the
West Jefferson Aldermen meeting Thursday night to request
a commitment to help them keep cruisers from loitering and
causing damage to the downtown.

A grant in the amount of $5,000 was presented to Program
Coordinator Bud Hill of the IDA Program from Bethany United
Methodist Church that will be used to hold credit counseling
sessions for local residents.
